We have a job available for a PHP developer to work on our portfolio of 300+ client websites. The role involves upgrading and maintaining current web projects, as well as building new ones. Ideally you will have 2 years experience with PHP and MySQL development, at a commercial level would be an advantage. You will be able to write clean, well structured and annotated code, with an eye for detail.
Strong PHP/MySQL knowledge
Strong XHTML/CSS knowledge
Creating and maintaining normalised MySQL databases
Designing layouts in Photoshop
Basic Linux Server Administration
Candidates with a good knowledge of OO programming, the Zend Framework, creating / maintaining Magento Ecommerce 'Shopping Cart' style websites, Wordpress templates, creating Wordpress themes or XML & Web Services would be at an advantage, but we welcome applications from all enthusiastic programmers or people with good IT qualifications.
This job would suit an extremely talented individual, perhaps with 'hobbyist experience' who is looking to expand their knowledge and turn their skills into a career. Applicants must have a good level of English because the role involves sending email messages to customers and updating live websites.
