Carers are needed to support a 92 year old man to continue to live in his own home in Attenborough. The time of support is once daily - evening responsibilities dedicated to supporting him to retire, get undressed and be settled in bed (20:30-22:00). The man has acquired specific routines which need to be sensitively supported. It is possible to split the work between carers. Applications are particularly welcomed from women returning to work after caring for children, with a good attititude and high motivation essential. Hourly rate is £8.50 per hour. In Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, the Air Ambulance is only kep flying thanks to the efforts of fund-raisers and the donations made by the general public - people's lives are regularly saved by the helicopter's crew.

Volunteers are asked to assist at fundraising events across Nottinghamshire - these are enjoyable days out and a great way to meet new people. Every volunteer's contribution helps to raise the crucial funds needed to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.
