Home Library Service - Love Reading Books? Are You Housebound?

If you are stuck indoors and unable to visit your local library to borrow books, but you enjoy reading and need help - or if a relative or someone you know might be able to use the mobile library, please get in touch!

In partnership with the Nottinghamshire Library Service, WRVS provide a Home Library Service to residents of the area. Books and audio tapes are delivered to people in their own home by WRVS volunteers.

The Service Is Free Of Charge

The library books and audio tapes can be delivered to anyone, of any age, who is unable to leave their home or cannot easily visit a library in the Nottinghamshire area, and who does not have anyone to choose and borrow books for them.

The WRVS is an experienced group of volunteers, working across the county, aiming to increase the number of housebound readers that they visit on a regular basis.

If you would like to receive the Home Library Service, or know someone else who might, please contact Ask Libraries on 0845 0267972.
