As a bit of fun we have put together some player profiles of all squad members, in no particular order. These will include some not so helpful information about you, your mug-shot and your 'alter-ego'. More of these will be appearing on the website during the next few weeks - so if you haven't been ridiculed yet, you soon will be!
Andy M: Goalkeeper/Striker (Beeston.Biz Legend/Founder of Beeston.Biz)
Andy is one of the original founding members of Beeston.Biz FC - initially a 5-a-side team which has since evolved into an 11-a-side team entered into the Notts Sunday League. Andy's efforts and
determination to make the club a success was a fundamental part of our middle of the table finish in our maiden season. On the pitch Andy is an excellent shot stopper between the posts but feels more
at home up-front as a target striker, however after a few beers on a Saturday night he would be the first to admit he feels more at home...at home in bed. Usually found on the touchline sporting a
flask full of coffee (we think its coffee :P...).

Craig S: Central Midfield
The only thing longer than Craig's list of tricks is not suitable to mention on a website of this nature. If he's running the wing or getting stuck in down the middle of the park Craig has a key eye
for goal which was proved with a substitute appearance last season that resulted in a hat-trick in less than 18 minutes, two of which were goal of the season candidates.

Paul H: Central Defence/Midfield (Club Captain/Fixtures Secretary)
A broken leg wouldn't stop our captain having one of his trademark 30 yard digs and running the back line or central midfield. Paul led Beeston.Biz to 7th place in the league last season and is
determined to do better this year. Well known for sporting traffic stopping fashion accessories, such as alice-bands, we think the traffic should just keep heading his way.

Oli H: Winger/Striker (Chairman/Match Day Secretary)
Small (sorry - very small) winger with fast feet but an even faster mouth! Always keen to have the ball at his feet and loves nothing more than running at full backs and having 'Nut-meg' competitions
with club captain Paul H.
Oli thinks of himself as a bit of a set-piece specialist, but really at 4ft tall would he ever win a header - does suffer from an embarrassing impotence (don't worry Amanda - goals in open play) Not anymore he doesn't!.

Steve (Bozzie) B: Full Back (Social Secretary)
Bozzie is Beeston through and through (we think that's a good thing!) and is a key player at either left or right back, getting forward as often as he can and his dodgy goal claim last season is
still up for debate. Great character in the dressing room and is now our social events organiser. Bozzie has a thing for bikes especially a Ducati 8500 or something and when we say he has a thing for
bikes that thing is illegal in every country apart from Singapore.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Dave (Stormy) S: Full Back
Two things come to mind when talking about Dave, first his ponytail and second his level of commitment to the cause. Great at reading the game and never gives up on a lost cause making him an
indispensable player within the squad. Dave will play in a variety of positions where needed and is always first to sign up to our social events so he can show us his break-neck dance moves and shape
cutting skills.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Shaun B: Central Midfield (Club Treasurer)
With his fiery ginger hair and loud personality Shaun is always seen and... well, always heard. Powerful in the middle of the park but was on the sidelines for the majority of last season with
various injuries and operations. Everyone is very happy to have Shaun back in the squad, not least because he is such an obvious target on set-pieces (just aim for the flames)!
An early candidate for player of the season? Might need a few more performances and a few less injuries!

Nick P: Central Midfield/Winger
'Once you pop, you just can't stop!' Sorry couldn't resist it mate - because apart from your surname being synonymous with a well known brand of crisps, once you've been in the team it has been
impossible to leave you out! Committed and determined for every minute of the match, Nick can play across the whole midfield and has already got his Beeston.Biz goal account off to a flying start.
Big things are expected of the young lad and we are all sure he will deliver.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Jamie K: Goalkeeper (Training Organiser)
Jamie is a (tax dodging) student who has just joined our club and has definitely done enough to be given the No. 1 shirt and when he is not tax dodging he is hustling the rest of the squad at cyber
golf. Jamie is a great addition to the squad and did I mention he doesn't pay any taxes, but you wait till those student loan repayments start hahahahahaha!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Mark P: Central Defence
One of our most experienced Sunday League players (that in no way means you're old mate) and it shows with a great football brain and good understanding of striker's movement. This has led Mark to be
an integral part of the Beeston back-line. Mark is yet to be tested on the social side of things, will his experience there show the younger lads a thing or two? You decide!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
James S: Central Defence/Striker
You can tell which one James is, he has snow on the top of his head! James is our Big Friendly Giant and plays a strong game at centre back and towers above any forward with a fantastic leap and good
reading of the game. James enjoyed a boozy weekend away with some of the squad in Skeggy and we did manage to topple the big-lad 'The bigger they are...'
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Jonno D: Full Back/Central Midfield
Jonno-dinio - excellent with the ball at his feet and never one to shy away from trying to beat opposition players with tricks and skills. As you'd expect from a founding member of the team, he's
committed to the cause for 90 minutes taking any role in the team his is given and giving 100%. Jonno shares a problem most of our players have, he is allowed out on social nights but only when the
Mrs has taken her thumb of his head (we all know that feeling). Jonno is now our training organiser for the season.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Mark M: Central Defence/Midfield
Since his arrival at Beeston.Biz Mark has continued to impress with his willingness to work hard and put 110% into every activity. Plays a strong game in the centre of midfield or defence and has
become an instant legend on our social events with some back-busting moves on the dance-floor, wonder if his girlfriend knows how much of a good dancer he is.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Danny V: Striker
Danny has been a Beeston stalwart since the second game we ever played, but sadly he's spent much of the pre-season, and the whole of last season recovering from knee ligament damage and operations.
But he is now back on the saddle and turns up at training every week jockeying defenders at every oppertunity. Danny likes to play upfront and is always keen but always has a great sense of humour
and is very popular with the squad, the reason for this is he knows when and when not to horse around. Danny is also a very keen and talented golfer, the next Tiger Woods - not sure!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Sam H: Winger
Sam is a new addition this year and has made an impact with a great first touch (probably the best in the league) and great determination down the wing. Sam always makes the effort and will be a big
part of the squad this seaon and for future seasons aswell. Not the tallest of players coming in at around 2ft 5in but has a great header when he gets the chance.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Russ C: Central Midfield
Mature family man Monday to Saturday but come Sunday morning Russell turns into a fearless power horse in the centre of midfield with a great understanding of the game and keeps morale high if the
impossible should happen and we go behind. Oh yeah he loves Reflex - I mean really loves reflex - seriously! If you look up Russell in the dictionary the definition reads - 'man-flu'.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Chris C: Full Back
Chris joined the club this season and has grown and grown each week. His tackles are getting stronger (I can vouch for that personally) and his confidence is growing, as shown when he robbed the ball
from Andy at training recently and surged forward to help set up a goal. Chris mostly plays a defensive role though and if the tackles keep progressing he may be in contention to claim 'The Chopper
Harris Award', but currently Josh G is leading the field on that one!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Tom M: Full Back/Central Midfield
Newcomer Tom made an immediate impact on his first training session by getting stuck in from the start. He's a versatile player who loves playing football but not as much as he loves a Jagerbomb! We
were all introduced to Tom's favourite drinks in Skeggy, but it's funny how most of us can't remember much about it. Tom is quick witted and has been known to leave his hand-print on some
un-expecting squad members - ouch!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
James (Kaka) B: Full Back
Just to be clear from the start he looks like Kaka just in case any other team is thinking of snapping him up. However that said on his first appearance at training we know we had found our £60
million right back who has fitted right into the squad. I think James should be glad he has been named after the Baby-Faced Brazilian and not Luke Chadwick.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Josh G: Full Back
Josh's claim to fame has to be that he puts more people on the sidelines with injury in training than any other player that has ever kicked a ball. He is determined to win every ball that comes near
him and this has made him stand out in our defence. Josh can play anywhere at the back but will we have any players fit to play alongside him - only time and plenty of ice packs will tell.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Daive: Central Defence
The mystery that is Daive, so many questions and so few answers. Why does he have an 'i' in his name? Surely his name is Dave - and why is he always so happy?! Why is he never at training?!
Only joking, Daive works as a nurse at Queens Med Hospital and when he's not treating patients he's putting them in hospital with his suicide tackles and defensive prowess. We do keep a check on
Daive when he does turn up, some say they swear they heard him Oink Oink! Swines!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Adrian S: Winger/Striker
Might look like a hoody but this lad has lots to offer under his sports wear and bling. Aidy had a great season last year and finished as our top goal scorer with a few goal of the season candidates
included. Naturally left footed with a growing list of tricks he has virtually made the left flank his own and is hoping continue his excellent form into next season.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Bill Y: Central Midfield/Striker
Some say his northern twang originates from the Charles Dickens era and that he once donated some talent to a stroppy former Man Utd winger... all we know is... he's called Bill! Adaptability
and composure are just two of Bill's skills which allow him to play all over the park and fit right in. No-nonsense on and off the pitch makes him indispensible (when he's not at a wedding)! Scored a
screaming 30 yard drive on the last day of the season - but were his eyes shut at the time?!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Aidan C: Winger/Striker
Part of the younger generation within the squad Aidan suffers from that teenage disorder of 'can't be a***d' - just kidding Aidan has great determination, is a great striker of the ball and rarely
misses the target. Plays either on the wing or up front and has a trick or two to tease defenders with. Aidan has a great future ahead of him and we are considering tattooing him with our club badge
so he doesn't leave - we wouldn't do a thing like that :P
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Ollie T: Central Midfield
Ollie is the poster-boy of the squad with his hair never out of place, we often wonder if he should be at boy-band practice instead of football. That said, we are glad Ollie comes to training every
week because he is a talented young footballer who is maturing as the weeks pass. Ollie loves playing down the centre of the park and his ability to pick a pass shows that he will be a great asset to
the squad.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Ed K: Striker
What can we say about Ed?...really what can we say? Plenty actually, Ed is determined, passionate and loves the beautiful game of football. Since his first training session Ed has become a favourite
within the squad because he never gives up and always gives 100%. Ed once came up to me during a match and asked "How can I improve?", my advice mate - keep doing what your doing pal!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Richard P: Winger/Striker
He's here, he's there, he's every flippin where...Pacey...Pacey! Richard is one of our newest recruits and is always at training sessions and supporting the team on match days if not selected. Rich
is an example to the whole squad and is always first to volunteer to do jobs for the club (running the line etc.) We are all waiting for Rich to come of age and be able to join our social gatherings,
even though he might not be so helpful the morning after! Recently scored a screaming goal during a Saturday friendly from just inside the opponents half but thanks the wind for an assist.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Tom G: Striker
Tom supports the second best team in North London, however he may argue that second best bit! Tom joined us just as the season had started and has brought a wealth of talent and ability to the team
which is why he is making the squad very early in his beeston.biz career. He actually scored on his full debut which goes along way in showcasing his talent. With a bit of re-wording we can chant
that famous North London Derby song 'Stand up if you love Tom G, Stand up...'
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Yahya M: Central Midfield
Do you ever remember your old football coach saying 'let the football do the talking?' well Yahya does exactly that which is why he is our silent assassin. Yahya is a great midfielder who earned a
man-of-the-match award on his league debut and didn't seem to break a sweat. Like a foreign imported lager suggests, he's probably the best Nottingham Sunday League defensive midfielder, who plays
for a Beeston team and name begins with Y, in the world! But we just like to call him our 'star in a reasonably priced car!'
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Jack M: Full Back / Centre Back
Like the golfer Ian Poulter Jack has a thing for wearing rather 'different' attire at training but I suppose you need one in every team :) Jack is our own Delap, he has a great throw-in and is a
powerful player who can play anywhere across the back four. He's become a players favourite, always has a smile on his face - but like the Hulk you wouldn't want to see him when he's mad!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Chrystian JPK: Striker
Another newcomer this season, a huge target of a player who showed his striking capability by scoring a goal 21 seconds into his debut. He then put another fine effort into the back of the net
proving that it will be a 'so solid' decision to leave him out of future squads. We are keeping our hands on this polish aquisition.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Ant B: Full Back
If he can stay out of trouble and mangae not to fall down some stairs the day before a match he will generally turn up and do very well. Not much in the way of league appearances this year but next
year should prove to be a whole new ball game. Seriously though unless your leg falls off there are no excuses!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Matty K: Winger/Striker
Matty is a breath of fresh air, one of our student players who has yet to turn up to a game hungover. He is a great winger and was a huge influence of our Loft in Space scalping and will show
everyone next year how students don't always have to go out on a Saturday night, then again the committee could learn alot from Matty. Actually forget I said anything.
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Sam C: Full Back/ Centre Back
Sam claims to be a student but when you have a cleaner and meals cooked for you does it really count? That said he doesn't always let someone else do the hard work. On the field he is a rock at the
back and has already become a key member of our back line. First player in Beeston.Biz history to be named MOTM without a vote been needed - superb!
2010/11 Stats:Apps:0, Goals:0, Assists:0, MOTM:0
Pete G: Goalkeeper
Ex-army lad Pete is a General between the sticks, a nice lad on and off the pitch who comes to the call of the team when required. He is a leader from the back of the field and hopefully can help us
push our assault on up the league this season. We salute you, el generale!
