If you are looking for a quick snack or light lunch then upstairs at The Pineshop on Beeston High Street has great baked spuds with a choice of fillings. We like chicken, bacon and mayonnaise and brie and cranberry! The coffee is good too and there's always cake to finish with or take away if a spud is not enough!

Venture along Chilwell High Road and pop into the Flying Goose Cafe. When I call in there my choice is an excellent cup of coffee and either a chocolate croissant or a croissant with butter and strawberry jam. Small, smart and quiet, this cafe is the kind of place to take the paper and hang out for a while [there is even a sofa]!

Caffe Nero on the High Road

The popular coffee shop chain recently opened an outlet in Beeston - they offer a brilliant choice of coffees to drink in or take away. A recent reviewer for Beeston.biz says that Caffe Nero is:
'very clean and has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere - a great place to chill. It also offers a good range of paninis, sandwiches, cakes, pastries and soft drinks'.

The Park Coffee Bar offers excellent wraps, salads, sandwiches, and jacket potatoes. Reasonably priced, it is located within the Technology Drive site.
