Probably Beeston's Best Traditional Pub

The Hop Pole, Beeston

If you are looking for a friendly, well run pub in the Beeston or Chilwell area, you have found it in the Hop Pole.

With a heated patio to the rear and a choice of two bars inside, you will almost always be able to find somewhere comfortable to sit - this is the type of pub where people come for a chat and a decent pint.

Although live music often features on weekday nights (usually Tuesday evenings) this is not a place where you will find a rowdy disco or a packed bar full of teenagers.

The pub is 'in tune with its traditional roots' - with high quality real ales on draught and a range of other drinks available.

Check out the Quiz Night on a Wednesday - great fun and sociable at the same time. There is often free food in the evenings (for example on Quiz night) but you will always find bar snacks such as Tyrell's Mixed Root Vegetables or Cashew Nuts behind the bar.
