An official CAMRA pub, the Victoria Inn is the closest pub to Beeston Train Station and offers a range of locally brewed ales in addition to the usual selection of drinks.

'My colleagues and I called into The Victoria Inn for lunch today. The first surprise was a roaring log fire, then even more pleasant was the cost of a pint of soft drink, at last a pub that doesn't
charge beer prices for coke! My pint of orange and lemonade, plus a pint of coke, for only £3.00! The food we ordered was served very quickly and met all of the high standards we've come to
expect at The Vic. Vegetarian Pate On Toast and my own choice of the hot daily sandwich were both served with healthy portions of dressed side salad. Those with bigger appetites went for the Sausages
and Mash and this didn't disappoint either. Excellent.'

'The Vic was quite quiet for a Saturday lunchtime and it was a sunny day, so we sat outside [not many trains passing by on a weekend either]. With a salad garnish that puts most other pubs to shame,
my Steak sandwich was more of a meal than I was expecting! The steak was a good size, served on top of a lightly toasted half ciabatta, with warm onion marmalade. My companion had sweet roasted
peppers with cous cous and both lunches were very good quality. The chefs at The Vic really know how to marry different flavours together to the best effect - the cost was just over £20.00
including two drinks'
