Yod Siam Thai Restaurant and Take Away

Robinson Reviews: Is This The Best Restaurant and Take Away in Beeston?

The roving reporter for beeston.biz, Andy Robinson, rates Yod Siam as one of the best restaurants in Beeston.

Dining out at the small Yod Siam restaurant is an informal affair, with friendly attentive staff and a pleasant ambience.

The restaurant offers authentic Thai Cuisine and Andy's personal favourite, apart from the delicious Mixed Hors D'oeuvres starter, is the Thai Panang Curry - with either beef or pork. Andy's recent visit to the restaurant was with two local business people - Sarah from Courses for Cooks and Jon from Earth Bound Electrics - and the atmosphere in the restaurant was ideal for an informal meeting.

The menu presented inside the restaurant is, according to Andy, a little bit different to the take away menu - for example the Panang [is that spelt Panaeng? can anyone help?] curry is called 'Thai Red Curry', however the recipe and flavour is the same.

An interesting addition is Yod Siam Restaurant's recommended accompaniment with the food - a choice of Thai wines, white or red. Robinson reports that with regret, he has yet to sample the wine, but plans for his next meal at Yod Siam will certainly include this choice! The Singha Beer is a light refreshing lager-style Thai beer that goes equally well with the fragrant curries.

Book Your Table Early if you would like to sample the food at Yod Siam's restaurant in the evening, particularly at the weekend, on Friday or Saturday nights.

Tasty Take-Aways Aplenty!

The set meal for two people costs just over £20.00 to take-away, but if you are looking for a single meal with rice, less than £10.00 will buy you anything on the menu [which to the best of Andy Robinson's knowledge, has not changed since 2003]. Try a succulent Swordfish Green Curry, or fresh Sweet and Sour Vegetables in Thai Style.

Even on busy Friday and Saturday nights you will find that the take away service [in common with the restaurant service] is prompt, friendly and efficient.
